Issue 36: (Almost) Everything I Wrote This Year
Closing out 2024 by taking a look back
This email might get truncated. Why? Because I decided to take a look back at all the new stories I wrote in 2024, starting on January 1, 2024. I’m sharing the first 100 here—it doesn’t include the new stories shared exclusively in this newsletter or the small handful of original stories posted on Tumblr. And I only got up to August.
So this is a long email that could get cut off, but you should be able to click a link to view it in its entirety.
The usual disclaimers apply, but because there was a surge of new subscribers since my last newsletter (welcome, new readers), I thought it prudent to restate: This is fictional BDSM erotica. These fictional characters are over 18. Kinks and themes include bondage, humiliation and degradation, objectification, dehumanizating acts, dominance and submission, ageplay kink, breeding kink, the list goes on. These stories do not reflect my beliefs and values; they can be more accurately interpreted as a blend of my own sexual kinks and fantasies.
What I’m working on: Billy and Ella’s story, As She Craves. Over 25k words and I’m still in the first part. I think of their story as potentially being divided into 3 or 4 of stages of their lives, and I’m still writing the first part.
What I’m listening to: “Bad Things” by mgk and Camilla Cabello. I think Camilla sounds great but her voice is too clean and pure to do these lyrics justice: Am I out of my head? Am I out of my mind? / If you only knew the bad things I like / Don’t think that I can explain it / What can I say? It’s complicated / Don’t matter what you say, don’t matter what you do / I only wanna do bad things to you…Nothing’s that bad if it feels good.
What I’m reading: “Science Project” by rovingstatic on Bdsmlr is a short story that feels like you’ve been taken on the journey of a novel and yet it’s still far too short for my liking. I need there to be more to this story; I need there to be a six months later part to this story. The story just keeps getting meaner and meaner, the horror and heaven of it all ratcheting up with each revelation.
